Tennessee's top remaining 2025 recruiting target shouts out the Vols
Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Vols' top remaining 2025 recruiting target shouted out the Volunteers on Monday via a post on his Instagram story.

2025 five-star offensive tackle David Sanders is the most sought-after recruit in the nation. And the Vols, along with Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and Ohio State, are very much in the thick of the intense battle for the Charlotte native's commitment.

Tennessee is set to receive an official visit from Sanders, who has already visited Knoxville several times, on June 14. He also has upcoming official visits scheduled to Clemson, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State.

On Monday, a fan posted a photo of herself holding a Power T sign while standing next to Sanders.

Sanders, who is rated as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation, reposted the photo on his Instagram story with the caption "Yupppp GBO baby".

Opinions are all over the place on where Sanders will eventually commit -- which means no one really has any idea who will win this recruiting battle.

We likely won't have a good idea of how this battle plays out until Sanders finishes his official visits in June. At that point, Sanders will probably narrow his list to a couple of schools before announcing his commitment.

Tennessee is in a good spot for Sanders, but Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and Ohio State are going to make this a tough battle to win over the next few weeks.
